At his home in Agenebode, Edo State, Raymond Dokpesi, founder of DAAR Communications and owner of AiT and Raypower, was laid to rest.
On Thursday, approximately 4:35 p.m., he was laid to rest in Agenebode in the company of his family, close friends, supporters, and locals.
After falling while using a treadmill machine as part of the training he needed to do to recover from an unidentified ailment, Mr. Dokpesi passed away on May 29 at the age of 71.
To pay their final respects to the deceased media mogul, several Agenebode residents exited their homes and places of business.
