I am surprised that no one has spoken about BBnaija on this platform. Yes, I understand the current economic situation in Naija and how it directly affects our daily lives, but I know that as Nigerians, we always find a way to entertain themselves.
We are currently in week 5 of the 10-week long reality TV show, and sincerely, it isn’t the same as the previous seasons. This season is different. Little wonder it is called ‘All-Stars’. All the participants came prepared. Maybe not all, but majority! In case you do not know the prize, it is N120million cash and other things…😋
The introduction of new dynamics to the game is giving us a little bit of ‘squid game’ . Although, it is not that extreme, I am certain that some of the housemates will not think twice if they were asked to play without rules as in the squid game movie. Ike is on this table!🤣
In addition to this, the liberty to openly discuss nominations for the ‘pardon me, please’, has brought about a clear division in the house. Everyone, maybe with the exception of CeeC belongs to a group. While some are playing the ‘Queen mother’ role like Mercy Eke, others are begging to be pardoned.
The provision of food for the HOH and BFFs irrespective of whether they loose or win their wager is an icing on their cake. Who wouldn’t want to win the HOH, of course🤣. Other things worthy of note are the search for the immunity card, the choosing of BFFs and of course, the ‘almighty’ jury! How could I forget this?! Jury ke? Who send them?🤣. As we all know, there’s an ongoing controversy around these people (the jury), but what do we know? It’s big brother’s house and his rules🤐.
In conclusion, apart from the frivolities that happens there everyday, I believe that there is more to learn from the human behaviour especially when there is a prize involved. And believe me, this one is huge!
